This Yale Original 77 Series Night Latch is part of the original Yale Lock Series which is designed with classic styling. The deadlocking snib function enables the latch to be held back or deadlocked internally. The nightlatch is key operation from the outside and has a knob handle for operation from inside. The 77 series nightlatches have a 60mm back set, this is the measurement from the edge of the door to the centre of the keyhole. Locks with a 40mm back set are normally used where there is restricted space, such as on a narrow glass panelled door.
