This trade-ready plunge router is perfect for worktop routing as well as a range of other tasks including mortising, hinge cutting, edge trimming, furniture making and much more. It runs at 2100 Watts (1750 @110V) with a soft-start giving you better control of the machine. The speed of the motor can easily be varied with the speed control dial to suit different applications and cutters. It has a multi-slit 1/2″ capacity collet plus a 1/4″ reducing sleeve giving you a large range of different cutters available. The T7EK also comes with a micro-adjusting side fence that helps with straight edge tasks, but also has a trammel adaptor included to allow you to cut circles and curves around a specific radius. The handles of this router are angled forwards to reduce ulnar deviation and provide a more comfortable experience during long periods of usage. The right hand handle has the two-stage operation switch that improves overall user safety.
