A pin guide type drilling jig from Trend that has been developed specifically for euro-style concealed hinges for cabinetry. It uses pins to align to the edge of the hinge side of a cabinet door, and depend on the direction you mount the jig, gives you a 3, 4, 5 or 6mm inset position from the edge. The jig not only allows you to drill the large hole, but pilot holes for the two screws of the hinge.

The drill guide itself is spring loaded, with an adjustable depth stop to prevent overdrilling. The large wings on the jig are there to provide a wide platform to clamp, with whatever clamp type is your preference. This jig kit gives you everything you need for an accurate euro style hinge install – hole diameter, hole depth, inset distance, alignment and pilot holes.
