Available in two lengths, these large format boards are suitable for a large range of applications. The larger 71cm depth gives it scope to be used not only as worktops, but also as a freestanding desk or island worktop. Rubberwood is a hardwood that is easy to work with due to its medium density. Rubberwood trees, the Pará rubber tree, or Hevea brasiliensis, are environmentally friendly, as they are sourced from plantation trees which has come to the end of their useful life in producing natural rubber. New trees are always planted in their place.
