Designed with the professional gardener in mind, this motor drive unit is designed to accept various different garden power tool attachments. This saves cost in the long run when compared with buying separate garden tools each with their own set of electronics, motor and battery mount, allowing the machine to pay for itself by the time you have two different attachments. Unlike other split-shaft systems, this machine doesn’t require tools in order to swap out the attachment installed – essential for the busy gardener. The unit itself has a switch to temporarily run it in reverse, which is ideal when using the hedge trimmer or strimmer attachments to allow you to get unstuck or untangled easily. The DUX60 has a brushless DC motor that operates at 36 volts, which is supplied to it by combining two 18 volt LXT batteries in series.
