The intumescent fire strips have been designed to expand in the the event of a fire, sealing off gaps between the door and the frame preventing the spread of fire and smoke. The strips brush has been designed to stop smoke passing through the door before the intumescent strips activate. The strips are most effective when rebated into fire doors or frames. The intumescent seal has been fitted with a self adhesive strip allowing for a quick and easy, tool free installation.
