These euro cylinder locks are designed to be a universal replacement for your existing locks. They are simple and easy to replace without any specialist knowledge required. You just need to get the correct length. To measure this you simply remove the single screw at the edge of the door, insert the key into the lock, rotate slightly, and pull. Then measure the distance from the screw hole to the face on each side. This lock is designed for doors which have one side longer than the other by 10mm. Make sure that the lock length you select does not allow the face of the lock to protrude from the door handle more than 3mm.
