The Dewalt DCF889P2 high torque impact wrench is the newest addition to the Dewalt XR brushless range of power tools which has been designed with professionals in mind and is ideal for use in a diverse scope of applications from auto-mechanics to home DIY projects. The impact wrench uses integrated 18V brushless technology which enhances the DCF889 ‘s performance and over all durability, while a powerful fan cooled motor delivers up to 950nM of torque producing 2400 impacts per minute; perfect for the loosening or tightening of heavy duty fastening applications such as the removal of seized wishbone nuts or bearings. The impact wrench features an adjustable 3 mode speed control and adjustable torque settings giving the best range of control to best suit the application.

Additional features include a 1/2″ / 13mm square drive with a detent pin that locks sockets into place in order to provide a higher torque and facilitates better socket retention delivering up to 1625Nm of “breakaway” torque for the tightest of bolts.

An integrated bright LED worklight with flashlight functionality and delay feature improves visibility in the working area. Ergonomic soft grip rubber handles maximises user comfort and overall control.
