This drywall sander from DeWalt has a 225mm backing pad with high dust efficiency which removes more debris than standard backing pads. It has a telescopic handle which can be adjusted to the desired length. The brushless variable speed motor provides the user with greater control in all applications. This sander has a lock on switch for reduced user fatigue when sanding larger areas. It also has built in ToolConnect allowing connection to your other tools i.e an extractor so they both run in tandem.

Both tools are powered by the XR range of Lithium-ion battery packs, with the sander being capable of running from both 18v and 54v batteries, and the extractor requiring a 54v FlexVolt battery pack (not included). The DCV586M has M-Class certification and of course is cordless, meaning it can be used on work sites.
